Do you have heads designed for use on illuminated bass drums?

We do. Our HeadLIGHTS™ drumheads use a special process and material to print onto translucent drumheads.

The translucent part matters. Our testing showed clearly (pun intended) that fully transparent heads aren't the best option for a lit kick drum: your eye looks straight through the print to the bright lights behind it, which defeats the entire purpose of having a printed head.

Our process produces something closer to a soft-white bulb — a diffuse light that highlights the print instead of overwhelming it. It's a killer look, and we developed it with John Cowsill of The Beach Boys for their 50th Anniversary Tour.

Better still, our illuminated heads look just as good unlit as our standard heads — which you don't get from printing on clear heads. They're the most beautiful and most flexible option for backlighting your artwork without giving up print quality or sound, day or night.

A few notes:

• HeadLIGHTS is only available on certain head types (Remo Hazy White work best), and won't appear as an option for incompatible heads.
• The HeadLIGHTS finish may add 3 to 5 business days to standard turnaround times, so plan accordingly.
• HeadLIGHTS heads do not include a lighting system. They're designed to work with whatever you're already using inside your kick drum.
