DrumART Design Your Own

Exchange & Return

What are your order cancellation, substitution, reprint, refund and warranty policies?

Cancellations, substitutions, reprints, etc.

Cancellations — HeadBuilder orders. Designs built in the HeadBuilder go into production almost immediately, so a 25% cancellation fee applies to any HeadBuilder order cancelled more than one hour after purchase — by then our artists have already formatted your artwork. Artwork (including any images licensed on your behalf) and design fees are non-refundable.

Cancellations — Leave It To Us orders. These can be cancelled for a full refund up until you receive your mockup. After that, the same ⚠FILL% fee applies, because the design work is done.

In either case: if the head has been printed but not yet ported, a flat $25 cancellation fee applies. If it's been printed and ported, we can't cancel — the head ships as ordered. Shipping is always refunded.

Substitutions. We may, at our discretion, make minor substitutions based on your design or on product availability — switching to a black head where white was selected for a dark design, changing to a different model from the same manufacturer, adjusting a port size or protector color. We will not make major changes (Evans to Aquarian, HeadLIGHTS to opaque) without your consent. Any change that lowers the price is refunded to you; any change that raises it is absorbed by us.

Reprints. Changes made after printing but before the head is ported or shipped are subject to a $25 reprinting fee. Once a head has been ported or shipped, it isn't eligible for a reprint and ships as ordered. Fabric and specialty items are never eligible for reprints.

Mockup revisions. Leave It To Us orders include one mockup and one revision. If we don't hear back within 48 business hours of sending a mockup, we'll assume approval and move to print. Additional revisions are $25 each.

Warranty. Our heads and other products carry a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If yours fails within a year because of a material or workmanship issue, contact us and we'll make it right.

Please Note: "My guitar player ripped the head when he tripped over the bass drum mic" isn't a valid warranty claim.  This is why we HIGHLY recommend port protectors be installed in any port where microphones will be used.
