What artwork types/formats/sizes can be used in the HeadBuilder?

Formats: JPEG, PNG and WebP.

PNG is ideal — it's lossless and it handles transparency cleanly. JPEGs are fine; if you're saving one yourself, use the least compression you can (a quality setting of 75 to 100).

Size: up to 32 MB per file. There's no pixel limit — upload the biggest, best version you have. We take your full-resolution original before anything gets scaled down for the screen, so nothing you upload is thrown away.

Filenames don't matter. Call the file whatever you like.

Bigger is always better. A small image can be placed on a head, but it can only be enlarged so far before it softens. If all you have is a small file — or artwork in a format the designer doesn't accept, like Illustrator, EPS, TIFF, PSD or vector PDF — Leave It To Us instead. That process handles anything you can throw at it.

And you're welcome to send us artwork before you order if you'd like us to look at it first. We'd rather tell you up front than have you disappointed later.
